WORLD DESTRUCTION

Thanks and praise be to his Buddha idol that Blum lives in a Republic of freedom of speech and ideas. How wonderful! How marvelous! His viewpoint is now heard the world over! He finally gets his time in the limelight and some much needed coin!

When I read some of his poignant intellectual rantings I thought, "Wow! Another '60s coffee house 'Whacko' that wants to destroy what we have but hasn't a clue as to how it could ever be safeguarded, rebuilt, or improved upon."

The presidential apologetic statements that he advocates are perceived as weakness and submission by the enemy dark side. It is fine by them! They think us "Girly Men" anyhow.

He and the Muslims really make rather strange bedfellows indeed, and they will use this rejected old Leftist for all he is worth in their well financed propaganda assault. To him it is about money and to them it is free publicity.
This totally lucid, and rather neutral, observational commentary by Dr. Pipes {above} only affirms my initial reaction.

In any one of 50 Muslim countries Blum, of Jewish heritage, would be beaten, mutilated, and beheaded. His wife would be raped, and sold into slavery, if she survived. His possessions would be plundered and divided. If his house was not desired by Muslims it would be burned to the ground. The Mujahideen, at the orders of bin Laden, would do the dirty work but the real culprit and coach would be Muhammad. "Salami been Hidden" is only a figurehead of a sick ideology. Actually, he is probably dead already, or badly hobbled and ill.

Yes. America has at times plundered the world as an "ideology colonist" and as a purveyor of whatever current leadership in power determines as just and right. The government in control stubbornly sticks to what they believe is right. This administration is really no different than others past.

We debated and wondered why Kennedy sent our young people to a far off primitive jungle country to fight and die over forty years ago. It was, auspiciously, to stop a tyrant and his vision of conquest and forced Communism. It was not to own title to his territory. In Iraq, we have the world's Jihadist battleground, and dare not turn tail and run. We will keep rebuilding and they will keep destroying.

One, then, has to wonder that, in His infinite wisdom and when He scattered the twelve tribes, our Creator was not totally aware that humankind would evolve into constantly warring territorial creatures, each wanting the other to believe as their own faction or tribe. He knew.

We will have war, with brief respites, to the very end. The difference in this one, though, is that the sworn enemy is amongst us, speaks English, and he is suicidal.

Who, then, is really telling the truth?
