No more plausible deniability for the PA

Reader comment on item: How Many "Hate Preachers" Expelled?

Submitted by Marvin Rabinovitch (Israel), Jan 29, 2006 at 11:29

With its massive victory at the polls, Hamas now stands fully revealed as the guiding spirit of the PA.

The "peacemaking" fig leaf has dropped and Israel is no longer the victim of Palestinian duplicity which has until now brandished the olive branch to beguile the west while thrusting the sword into the vitals of the Jewish state.

Say what you will about the antisemitic Islamo-fascists, they have the courage of their convictions, they do not hide behind a sly ambiguity, they proclaim to the world their hatred of Zionism and the Jews and their intention to eradicate Israel from the map of the Middle East. Israelis ought to be thankful that Hamas won the election, for they have gained a candid foe which will, hopefully, enable the scales to fall from the eyes of the international democratic community.
