Hamas's Election Victory

After the political "dust" has settled, I see that everyone are pointing fingers at each other regarding Hamas's "surprise victory".

My dear naive friends, you only have to look at what has has happened over the past few years to see that this was forthcoming. The PLO, first under Yassir Arafat, and later under Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Maazan) were so busy skimming off money into their off shore bank accounts that they somehow 'failed' to notice how Hamas was gaining the will of the Palestinians by using most of their money to take care of them. It was kind of like Robbin Hood and his Merry Men, expect that Hamas and Co. weren't so "merry" towards Israelis and other non Muslims, with the other part of their monies used to buy explosives, weapons, etc. used agains't Jews in a very nasty way!

Now, their leader in Damascus, Mashaal, wants to create a Palestinian army! I wonder how much armament they've received recently via Egypt. No more tunnels under the sand. No sir! They can bring the stuff in disguised as whatever they want to call it, and I'm sure the Egyptians simply look the other way ( maybe with a little Baksheesh to sweeten the deal).

Even Israeli military officers appear a bit bewildered. Duhhh, where were you guys all this time?

As for Condi Rice and her boss, No comment. They have the same you-know-what being thrown at them in Iraq.

Don't expect to Islam to mellow down and become moderate. This event has only encouraged the followers of the Prophet to be eveven more bold.

And, I'm quite sure that Hassan Nasrallah and HIS Merry Men in Lebanon (another big time problem for Israel), and of course Mahmoud Ahmadinjad and the Mullahs in Iran, are enjoying every minute of this spectacle as well.
