ISRAEL'S  basic problem is incorporated in the above oft-repeated statement. Unfortunately, the eminent commentator, Daniel Pipes, gives it further life.

Why does this comment invite adverse repercussions?  Because it re-opens discussion about the Jewish State's "right" to exist.

Fact:  ISRAEL EXISTS. "Rightly" or "wrongly" no longer is an issue. So stop picking at the healed sore. Jews themselves must accept the fact that Israel exists. If the Arab states think not, then they, themselves, don't have a "right" to exist.

Study Arab history. Particularly "Saudi" history. The first arab overlord, Abdullah, pointed to the acceptance of Palestine as a Jewish state and then argued that this fact militates recognition of his new kingdom (to be called "Saudi Arabia") as an Islamic State.  Abdullah was the terrorist chieftain who conquered the weaker tribes indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula and thereafter he made this argument in 1932 to the British government. The Brits agreed that since Palestine would become the Jewish Homeland, it was only equitable and just that Great Britain recognize the new kingdom chieftained by Abdullah as "Saudi Arabia, the Islamic state."

Some Israeli scholars are so intent on being seen as the very antithesis of the Arab mind, they throw cunning argument out with their bathos-water ('scuse) and thus render themselves stupefied by their rigidity and stubborness.  They must cease being such stubborn narrow-minded old ghetto occupants in order to begin thinking more cleverly, especially about their nation as a sovereign state.

It's a given fact that all arab states who attack Israel, whether directly or indirectly, are at war with Israel. And this is their first step down their openly declared path of engaging in a larger war with the West. Whether the arab war becomes a shooting war will depend on whether they insult Israel's sovereignty, or attack Israel or its people. And when the Arab states declare war, they must accept that they can lose millions of their civilian population ... because war is a hell they are bringing down upon themselves.

Advice to Israel:  STOP ABUSING AND ATTACKING YOUR OWN JEWISH CITIZENS.  EMPOWER THEM TO RESTORE JEWISH PALESTINE FROM THE OCEAN TO THE SEA.  THAT IS YOUR RIGHT.  THAT MUST BE YOUR DECLARATION.  REVISIT HISTORY AND DEMAND RESTORATION OF THE LANDS STOLEN FROM JEWISH PALESTINE.  YOU MUST NEVER, EVER, SACRIFICE THE POWERS AND RIGHTS OF THE ISRAELI JEWS FOR THE SAKE OF PLACATING AND GROVELING AT THE FEET OF THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT. BECAUSE IF YOU DO, YOU ARE SETTING THE STAGE FOR EMPOWERING THE ENEMIES OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE REST OF THE FREE WORLD. AS FOR INTERNAL PEACE: SEPARATE THE VARIOUS SECTS OF JEWS SO THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PLACE.  THIS WILL KEEP THESE EXCEPTIONALLY BIGOTED, QUARRELSOME PEOPLE FROM GETTING IN EACH OTHER'S HAIR. THEY ARE LIKE THE FOOLS ON THE SHIP TITANIC WHO FOUGHT OVER THE DECK CHAIRS WHILE THE VESSEL WAS SINKING. ISRAEL MUST UNITE TO FIGHT A COMMON ENEMY AND THAT ENEMY IS ISLAMIC IMPERIALISM. Thankfully, such Jews comprise a minortiy, albeit a loud one.

THE SAUDIS ARE PATIENT.  THEY CAN AFFORD TO WAIT FOR A WEAKER OR MORE CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION. WHY?  BECAUSE WE ARE ENRICHING THEM BY EMPTYING OUR TREASURY TO PAY THEM FOR THEIR OIL, WHICH GIVES THE SAUDIS THE MEANS TO PURCHASE THE LATEST WEAPONRY WITH WHICH TO DESTROY ANYONE THEY FEEL LIKE DESTROYING. WE COULD BE NEXT. MAYBE NOT TODAY, BUT CERTAINLY TOMORROW IF YOU ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE PROMISING TO "UMMAH".

WE ARE THE NON-EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS FOR ZION.  IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS. THEN ASK.  WE STAND BY THE PATRIOTS OF ISRAEL.
