Militant IslamReader comment on item: Interview with Daniel Pipes Submitted by Arthur H. Pitz (Ph.D.--History) (Slovakia), Nov 2, 2002 at 06:33 I would like to compliment Daniel Pipes in adding militant Islam to the picture considering John Muhammad. It may well be that John Muhammad was motivated in part by some concept of jihad. Certainly, the ballistics connection with a bullet in a synagogue strongly raises this possibility. At the same time, Mr. Pipes is right to draw a contrast between mainstream Islam which condemns the killing of innocent civilians and that of militant Islam which believes there are no 'innocents'. One should commend both him and Fox News for bringing the dangers of militant Islam to light in this case.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
