Abou el Fadl: A Great Scholar and Moderate MuslimReader comment on item: Conference of the Books: The Search for Beauty in Islam Submitted by Adam Chisti (United States), Nov 4, 2002 at 02:00 I'm dismayed that Khaled Abou el Fadl has been called an extremist. Why does Abou el Fadl need professionals to guard his home? Clearly because he is a target of extremists who use the cloak of Islam. ... The man is the furthest thing from an extremist.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
