Islamic SchoolsReader comment on item: Troubles at Islamic Schools in the West Submitted by Debby (Jordan), Apr 11, 2006 at 12:39 I must say u have been in one of these so called Islamic school, concluding that this article has left half the other story behind.Today in America public school are having more and more drop outs and on going problems! Based on my information, the Islamic school that I have seen has some of the top students not one student has ever dropt out. Also to my extent there are no drugs, sex, or any such non sense in those schools. It environment is a whole lot safer than today's American public schools! I have even seen once 2 Christian girls that had gone to an Islamic school. You may ask why?? Well simply because of the clean environment, I have never seen students bring guns to school nor have I heard any threats of any kind. Your also woudnering what kind of teachers teach there. Simply all types you have muslims not nessarly arab, and also have some Christian teachers. Me personally i have know a Christian teacher that had tough in an Islamic schol for more than 8 yrs. Concluding oh dear reader, this article has left out some fnishing species to get the WHOLE story.
