Intelligence and TerrorismReader comment on item: American Law Enforcement Really Does Profile Muslims – The Siraj Case Submitted by rick (United States), May 8, 2006 at 18:10 In a way, this puts the terrorists ill at ease. After all, they may be talking with an informer. That is a good thing. The bad thing is that this is getting a very public airing. Too much detail is unneccessary. The Police had a good plant and certain things are better left unsiad in public. Going after mosques is unquestionably the way to proceed. Mosques are at the heart of terrorism. This is a religious fanatic war, driven by a koranic rationalized jihad and the mosque is where the contacts are made, and plots hatched. Immans of mosques and their close associates who view jihad favorably should be the prime target of all intelligence. The war of terror is first and foremost a war of intelligence. Knowledge of persons, names, telephone numbers, and addresses are key to dismantling all plots. Getting "insiders" into mosques and obtaining info is crucial. WIthout such information we are a ship at sea with no instruments and in a heavy fog.
