Reader comment on item: American Law Enforcement Really Does Profile Muslims – The Siraj Case

Submitted by Daouady (United States), May 12, 2006 at 10:53

I am a product of the Islamic word and have been in U.S. since 1992. I love this country, I can raise my family in peace (until, what I say ticks some Muslims off :), I can worship freely and have dignity. I see nothing wrong with if I am stoped by police and questioned. I do not mind anyone taking my plate number.

I believe as ones who benefit from the greatness of this Country, the Muslims should be the first ones to line up to be fingerprinted, their records checked voluntarily. The Muslim community collectively needs to lead the charge and submit to the law inforcement agencies so that it (the Muslim community) can be "cleaned up". In doing so we will do ourselves a favor, this great country a favor and our children a favor.

Wa Salam
