Kadima plus Olmert

Kadima plus Olmert is the worst thing that could have happened to Israel of late. Sharon at least had right credentials for the job, but Olmert is just another weak kneed politician who is trying unsuccessfully to please everybody by compounding the errors made by Sharon.

Not having had to fight a "major" war in more than two decades seems to have lulled the Israelis into a false sense of security. You cannot disengage this enemy by withdrawing unilaterally. It will only embolden him and bring him closer to strike you with more impunity. Seems that it would take another holocaust for Israel to learn her lessons.

What has she acheived in the last few years ? A country which used to take pride in perfecting the adage "We do not negotiate with terrorists" voluntarily gave up territories which were hers and allowed a terrorist organisation to get elected and gain legality and world recognition without getting any thing.. any thing.. in return from the enemy. I won't be surprised if she does something stupid as handing over west Yerusalem to the palestinian authority tomorrow in order to appease the west. Why bother to appease an enemy whose ultimate and unwavering goal is to destroy you ? Israel's leaders must trust in God rather than give in to international opinion. After all Iran does not care a whit about "international opinion". Israel needs someone not like good old "Bibi" ( Netanyahu ) to lead her in these troubled times. Any one listening ?
