Tom Friedman said about Time Select: "I hate it. … I feel totally cut off from my audience." See the video of that here: http://tygerland.net/?p=642 So what Pipes said back in 2001 may no longer be as true as it once was: "Thomas Friedman may be the journalist who has the most influence on the way the outside world understands the Arab-Israeli conflict."
