You forget India's history, BilalReader comment on item: Zuhdi Jasser and "Monitoring Islamist Media" Submitted by Carol (United States), Jun 16, 2006 at 15:32 Yes some of us do have short memories. Historians estimate that India's history includes millions who died at the hands of Moslem insurgents through the centuries. That was long before British colonialism. You forgot about that I guess. The U.S. did come to the rescue of Bosnia when the UN was still pretty much debating what to do, but I guess you forgot that too. Many in US were not for it, but at least were free to speak up without fear of retribution. They were not killed by others who believed differently. You set up a false argument when you compare past U.S. behavior to our own now: i.e. Native Americans, civil right denial. We set about changing past wrongs, and are not done righting the wrongs. But we are doing something about it, not wanting to return to the 'glorious' days of old as are Islamists.
