Mr. Zuhdi JasserReader comment on item: Zuhdi Jasser and "Monitoring Islamist Media" Submitted by Maurice Picow (Israel), Jun 17, 2006 at 03:19 Certainly there are a lot of Muslim Americans who are concerned about the kind of dis-information being spread by various Islamic publications. Zuhdi Jasser's efforts to make people aware of this is a good thing, and hopefully more of this kind of service will help prevent the spread of radical Islamic thought. For sure, there are millions of Muslims in American who are not involved in any form of radicalism, and only want to go about their lives and raise their families within the realm of freedom and opportunity that America offers them. It is unfortunate when a few 'bad apples' take it upon themselves to cause a bad name to be spread to the others who are not involved. I hope that efforts like Mr. Jasser's will help decrease the kind of hate spewing that often goes on in Mosques in European cities like Paris and London. Islam often has an ugly side in those places, and this shouldn't be allowed to happen in America.
