S.H. /Islam, misunderstood again !Reader comment on item: The "New York Review of Books" Mangles Campus Watch Submitted by joe kaffir (United States), Jul 15, 2006 at 13:30 This is truly remarkable. All those terrorists, Saudi Arabians, all those Hamas and Hezbollah supporters just do not understand the real Islam. SO ! This 1400 year old world war against the civilized world boils down to one great big misunderstanding of the Koran and the real meaning of Islam. Now I get it ! I guess Islam all depends on what the meaning of the word "IS" is.( I think Bill Clinton said that?) It is also very gratifying to know that I have been upgraded to the exalted title of "non-moslem" instead of the pejorative, Infidel. Now all we have to do is get all those Al Queida, Taliban, Jamat al Islam folks altogether and explain to them about this misunderstanding and everything will be fine! This is the best news I have heard all day! Wait till the Isrealis hear this ! Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
