Where Are You From?

Uh-oh, do I see an identity number coming for all the citizens of the world? Might not such an identification system be suggested for tracking down/apprehending illegal aliens, terrorists, criminals? It would be presented as such a good thing : law enforcement agencies, deportation agencies, national security agencies would love it. And then, disaster agencies which work to sort out the aftermath of tsunamis, earthquakes, would also find it useful
