Not only has it effectively stopped the 'bride import' business from Turkey. It also turns out to be demographically extremely effective, for several reasons: - The women coming are generally more mature and better educated. The prognosis (always be careful about statistics, of course!), was just adjusted to predict only 8% immigrants & decendants by 2070, a radical drop from the 15% predicted just 2 years ago. If other countries applied the same conditions as Denmark, the demographic bomb may actually be defused.
