Daniel Pipes is not Islamophobic

The charge of racism/Islamophobia is raised against all those who have negative attitudes towards Muslims and Islam. Pipes is remarkably balanced in the way he deals with Islam. Far from being a racist, he opposes the totalitarian ideology of Militant Islam. Militant Islam is more similar to fascism and communism than it is to Islam. Pipes goes out of his way to stress the difference between traditional Islam- which he respects- and the totalitarian ideology of Militant Islam. The religion of Islam deserves respect. By contrast, Militant Islam is a totalitarian ideology which must be fought and defeated. After taking over Iran and Sudan, Muslim Extremists are trying to take over the rest of the Middle East and Africa. Don't let them take over America and Europe. It is time for America and Europe to take on Muslim Extremists. Somalia, Algeria, Pakistan, Afganistan and Indonesia are all being affected by the totaliatarian ideology of Militant Islam. Taking on Muslim Extremists is not racist- as the Left would like us to believe. We must be free to debate the dangers coming from extremism and fanaticism. Israel, America, Russia and Europe deserve to live in peace. If some elements and some groups- Muslim Extremists- preach hatred against America, we are entitled to counter-argue and defend ourselves. I am saying this and I am not even American. We need to develop a rational way of challenging the threat coming from Militant Islam.
