Reader comment on item: Turkey to Invade Northern Iraq?

Submitted by ÇETİN TAŞ (Turkey), Aug 30, 2006 at 13:57

Vijay prooved that he did not (and still does not) have any real information about Turkey, its social life and KEMALISM. His words about KHALIFATE is really ridicilous! Thanks God, ATATURK has already broke that system. I hope the same for Christian World to destroy Pope systems in Vatican. But seriously speaking, I advise Vijay to read articles about Cyprus,Kurds,Turks,Ataturk,Kemalism,Anatolia. He can just search it through GOOGLE so that he can find articles or informations from objective and subjective eyes.

I do not want to comment to Patrick and Pesmergah because they wrote childish things. Oh,no,I must tell a few words to both of them!Pesmergah, ask the father of Barzani (he is already dead) if possible (I know it is not) how is being betrayed by Europeans and Americans?Patrick, you do not know the best army in the world to fight at the mountains is Turkish army and they know what to do unlike Americans in Iraq.

James Verse, thank you,at least you seem to have some information about these issues. For sure you also have some mistakes at your comment but you are already more than an average American to comment things outside USA,far away from MTV,CNN,ABCscreens. So you deserve to learn some information.

First of all the government ruling Turkey is a gift of USA to the world and unfortunately to Turkish Nation. It was USA who supported this government during the elections, before and after the elections.Because they knew that instead of a nationalist and Kemalist government;a non-nationalist,non-Kemalist but Islamist government is the best for USA and it benefits at Middle East. That is why they fully support Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Qatar even though these countries are being ruled by Kings,Sheikhs or dictateurs

.Second thing is Turkey will surely enter fully to Nortrhern Iraq, sooner or later. But not because of helping USA and Israel or European benefits at the region. Just for its own rights as Turkey did in the last second at Cyprus. Because Greece was nearly creating some parts of ENOSIS (big Greece Dream as including Cyprus,Crete and all islands at Aegean Sea,Thrace region including ıstanbul and Western Region of Turkey) with the help of actionless British Forces at the island, USA and UN. But Turkey took military action and invaded one third of the island to secure the lives of Turks living at the island in 1974 in spite of all UN,USA efforts. Turkey will never let a Kurdistan;not only in Turkey but also in any other country in the region.

If you answer,we can continue discussion.
