What a forward-looking article. Though dealing primarily with Iran, this essay correctly predicts the horrors of 9/11, and warns against the myopia of the West's attitudes regarding the Middle East.

With Mr. Pipes being correct on so many scores, the mind reels when we look at the building war rhetoric here in America, and consider just how far this course lies, from the more diplomatic solutions that he suggests.
