My dear the truth :

I find it very funny when Muslims try to justify the absurd.

The jest of 9:4 and 9:6 is that your Allah is saying in addition to the usual blah...blah...blah that unless polytheists convert to islam you as a Muslim should kill them! This is disgusting and violent.

Q 9:5 came to be known as: Ayat al-saif or the "Sword Verse" which means that polytheists have one of 2 options:

1. Convert to Islam.

2. Or be killed by the sword.

This barbaric dispensation applies to polytheists at all times.

The question that the ancient 3Ulama had to solve was: "Who are really the polytheists?" Were they the pagans of Mecca or someone else?" If they were indeed the Meccan pagans how come they are not mentioned in the Aya?

1. Even if these were the pagans of Mecca why would your Allah incites Muahmmad and his followers to kill? After all your allah is omnipotent he can get the pagans to convert to Islam. But it seems that your allah was not omnipotent in this case.

2. Polytheists in this case as per Ibn Qatada (this is the earliest tafseer that you can get) must be the Christians and the Jews because in Q9:30 your Allah accuses both Jews and Christians of being polytheists (as your Allah claims that Jews regard 'Ezra as the son of God which is very wrong and we have the Christian doctrine of the Trinity which your Allah did not even get as he claimed that the Trinity is" God, Jesus and Mary! Very bizarre indeed).

3. Your allah regards Shirk or polytheism as the ultimate sin.

4. Based on ayat al-saif the option that Christians and Jews would have is to either convert to Islam or use the sword!

5. Enter surat al-anfal or chapter 8 where your Allah and Muhammad can collect 1/5 of the ghanima collected from the infidels. So there is money in them infidels.

6. Now your allah changes his mind as usual and reveals Q9:29 where he declares an unconditional war on ahl al-kitab or the Jews and Christians unless they convert to islam and they must pay the mafia tax aka Jizya.

Included now in ahl al-kitab are the Hindus and Buddhists and Zoroastrians! After all infidels can be a source of the jizya thing. Killing infidels? It is messy.
