sacred cow?

The most effective sacred cow which the poodle should consider sacrificing would be the development of more of our own oilfields in order to curb our dependency on Saudi oil. The environment which must inevitably be disturbed and which is so sacred to the enviros is about to be radically altered by their militant islam pals if their rhetoric is to be believed. Exxon Valdez may seem positively prosaic by contrast.
