Ms. Tremonti not a very good listener

Reader comment on item: York University and Campus Watch

Submitted by S. Silverstein (United States), Feb 2, 2003 at 13:26

I get the sense that Ms. Tremonti does not listen well to her guests and aggressively tries to put words in their mouths and "lead the audience" towards her point of view. Psychologically, her tone of voice seemed to reflect substantial aggression. Dr. Pipes did an admirable job of not getting distracted or deflected by this hysterical, aggressive, even hostile interview approach.

Ms. Tremonti sounded like some academics I know whose views are being challenged!
