Slavery was not in America that long..

Slavery in America was just less than 100 years.. thank God that it didn't continue, for the people knew that it was bad for the human spirit, God Bless Abraham Lincoln. It is just sad that it took so long for the wishes of the people to make it happen and took so long for the government to understand that it was not good.. for almost half of the people in America at the time did not believe it was bad.. it is also true that only half of America at the time of rebellion against England when the American Revolution started were willing to fight.. but it shows you the true free spirit of the true American... not those who wish to impose their will..like san fransisco and other places that don't allow the people make their own laws. it only takes those who are willing to fight for their freedom and to not allow someone to govern them by laws or by strength which is against the freedom of the spirit...the spirit is free.. as so the spirit should be free and the body in which it occupies shall also be free..but shall not interfere with others' freedoms at the same time.
