dhimmi no moreReader comment on item: Paul Goodman, MP, Analyses Radical Islam Submitted by Zaky (United States), Nov 27, 2006 at 03:48 Thanks for the response. BTW, Zaky is my first name. I never said that muslims or Arabs cant be racists. just like any other people regardless of their religion or race, Muslims and Arabs can be racists. What i disagree with is that the religion of islam is somehow responsible for their racism. The words that you mentioned in your post have always existed and poeple used them even before islam. Conversely, Im not defending Muslims or Arabs for their barbaric deeds, matter of fact i condemn it with all my senses and i only blame their shortcomings and backwardness on themselves, their dictators, extremism and uneducation. Having said that, I also dont blame the religion of Islam for whatever bad things they do. I challenge you to find al-harbu al mukadassatun or holy war in the koran. Jihad in early Islam was never about holy war like western media and many contemporary muslims portray it nowadays. the understanding of islam must be revised and thought differently in many muslim countries. Im an American Muslim and i practice my religion in moderation just like it should be. Although i was born into a liberal Muslim family, and I never considered myself a Muslim until i converted to islam in 1990 by discovering the religion myself. I disagree with your point of view on Islam, but thats fine as long as we stay civil towrds each other.
