For Zaki and Quranic tafseer/ta'weel!

My dear Zaki the Qur'an is silent about many things. let us take the example of male circumcision or female circumcision or FMG for this matter. It is not mentioned in the Qur'an! That does not stop Muslim from mutilating the genitals of their boys and of their girls in the case of let us say Egypt where Shaikh al-Azhar declared that FGM is very much Islamic based on the "makrouma" hadith!

So you have to turn to the commentaries for help and in this case the book to read is Malik's "Kitab al-Jihad" where he expalins the concept of what is really the Islamic holy war or al-harb al-muqadassa based on his ta'weel of the Qur'an.

I also suggest that you read Ruven Firestone and Petres' books about what is really Jihad,. But again thay are proud kuffar.

And no it is al-harb al-muqadassatun it is al-harb al-muqadassa and do not use I3rab as it is not a sentence. Sorry i expect better Arabic from you than I would expect from the many wannabe Arabs in this blog.
