BUSH IS A HYPORCITE!

Reader comment on item: Bush on Israel: Heartburn for All

Submitted by Ilene H. Richman (United States), Mar 5, 2003 at 04:02

When it comes to Israel, Bush is a hypocrite. He speaks with a forked tongue and out of both sides of his mouth. He is trying to please his friend, SAUDI ARABIA, WHO IS AN ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES. ... If the US had a country on its borders killing our people, Bushwould be attacking and wiping out this country from the face of the map. Yet he allows Israeli innocent children, women and men to be murdered, terrorized and maimed for life. Bush should make sure the Palestinians are pushed out of Samaria and Judea into the hands of their fellow Arab bretheren who occupy 99.9% of the Middle East. Certainly, their fellow Arabs have room in their countries, where there is plenty of land, to take in their fellow Arabs, the Palestinians.

Isn't it the Palestinians who cheered for Hussein in Gulf War I and now Gulf War II? Isn't it the Palestinians who were ejected from their fellow Arab country, Kuwait, at the beginning of Gulf War I for their perfidity? Not only should Israel expel these terrorists, murderers who have created suicide bombings, but so also should the US. The Palestinians are the only ones who are happy when their children blow themselves up, as they receive money from the terrorist states as Iraq and Saudi Arabia (remember the $100,000,000 telethon). Every form of species in animals always protect their young. It is only the Palestinians... that send their children to die. They strap bombs onto to them and smile with glee at the destruction of their children....

There are now 22 Arab dictatorships, amassing fortunes of money for their leaders. We do not need another Arab dictatorship on the borders of Israel. Secure borders shpuld be created and Gaza should be made a buffer area between Israel and Egypt. Remember, 5 of the hijackers came from Egypt while 15 came from Saudi Arabia. This is being swept under the rug by the Bush administration ... Let's put the cards on the table and lay out the truth.... ISRAEL IS THE ONLY DEMOCRACY IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND THE ONLY TRUE ALLY THAT THE US CAN TRUST. ISRAEL WOULD NEVER HAVE DONE TO US AS TURKEY DID (Let's remember Turkey is a Moslem country).

Israel needs staunch defenders in the press to push for expelling the Palestinians (who never existed as a people until after WWII when the Arabs held them as pawns to get rid of Israel). ...They do not have to face suicide murderers every day. ...Every time terrorism comes up, there is always blame on the Israeli-Palestinian situition, which has NOTHING TO DO WITH BIN LADEN AND HIS TERRORISTIC ORGANIZATION. ISRAEL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. THIS TALK ABOUT ISRAEL, EVERYTIME TERRORISM IS DISCUSSED, is a "blame Israel". This is a smoke screen for what is truly been allowed to happen under Reagan, Bush I, Clinton and Bush II. Israel was not involved in the World Trade Center, the USS Cole, the Khobar Towers... I am starting a campaign to boycott journalists who always bring Israel into the conversation with the troubles in the Middle East-caused by the Arab dictatorships-their greedy use of the oil money to enrich themselves-and the suppression of their people.

Arafat is the "father of terrorism for fifty years". Arafat was the initiator of the airplane hijackings, the murder of 12 Olympic Israel athletes, the murderer of two American ambassadors and scores of other Americans, "the father of suicide bombings". I could go on and on but it would take too long. He is the initiator of terrorism in the Middle East. He should be exiled to an island, ala Napoleon, for the rest to his terroristic life, where he is in isolation. And the Palestinians should return to other Arab states where there is plenty of empty land....
