Muslim Soldier in US ArmyReader comment on item: Muslim Soldiers in the West, Criticized by their Communities Submitted by Another American (United States), Jan 18, 2007 at 02:53 ....I am sure you've read Sura 9. (Few people in in the Gospels were killed - two noteworthy were Jesus and Pilate - on opposite sides of the spectrum. Except for Jesus, no one in the Gospel died to usher in righteousness) Either you do not recognize the heavy burden the prophet said to implement on the unbelievers, the Ahl al-Kittab, or you pretend not to honor it. If your post is true, you are working in the Army of the idol worshipers, which means you've got much too much explaining to do. Are you Takfir - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takfir_Wal_Hijira or Al-Taquiya? - http://www.dafka.org/NewsGen.asp?S=4&PageID=997 The American public is not as ignorant on Islam as it once was. The political leaders, although they talk a good game, are no longer ignorant either. As your religion teaches you and your fellows to fight against unrighteousness and remove it by the sword, I will agree there is much unrighteousness emanating from the west, however, throughout the history of the world there have been very few instances of men ushering in righteousness and when they did, it didn't last -- because it was of themselves. Speaking of righteousness, Sura 9 has no Basmalah. It is Impure. It is said to have been tampered with by the idol worshipers. Since the Koran was not written down until long after Mohammed's death how is it possible that it was taken down correctly? Likewise the Hadith. If later verses abrogate other verses how are they reliable, and how is this righteousness? Your religious scholars have a much greater task of interpretation than the Ahl al-Kittab given these problems. Indeed, they cannot be reconciled. I am a member of the Ahl al-Kittab. Understanding and wisdom are found within the Proverbs and throughout the Kittab. I'll admit the churches throughout history have led their flocks with a reliance on their own teaching. Is it not so today in the Masjid(s) throughout the earth? As for wisdom, check Proverbs 1:2 for instance or Proverbs 11:22. As for Prophecy, see also Isaiah 17:1 as well as Ezekiel 37 through 48. These two should tell you what's on the horizon. I would be remiss if I did not include Zechariah 12:1-6 -- 1 This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: 2 "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness," declares the LORD. "I will keep a watchful eye over the house of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. 5 Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, 'The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God.' 6 "On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume right and left all the surrounding peoples, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place. also, Zechariah 12:10-14 -- 10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit [a] of grace and supplication. They will look on [b] me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. 11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, 13 the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, 14 and all the rest of the clans and their wives. You will do well to learn about King David and compare him to Mohammed as well as compare Yah to Allah (1 & 2 Samuel and Kings and Chronicles). Everybody loves King David. He wanted to build God (Yah), who dwelt in their camp in a tent, a house to reside in. It was the desire of King David's heart. King David was man who followed after God's own heart, you know. The proper name Yah is found in Isaiah 12:2 and 26:4. King David did not build a house for God (Yah). He was not permitted to. His son Solomon was given the task. King David was a man of the sword with much blood on his hands, the blood of Yah's creation. Because of this, he was not allowed to build a house on this earth for Yah. 1 Chronicles 22:7-10 -- 7 David said to Solomon: "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house for the Name of the LORD my God. 8 But this word of the LORD came to me: 'You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight. 9 But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon, [a] and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign. 10 He is the one who will build a house for my Name. and 1 Chronicles 28:2-3 -- 2 King David rose to his feet and said: "Listen to me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a house as a place of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, for the footstool of our God, and I made plans to build it. 3 But God said to me, 'You are not to build a house for my Name, because you are a warrior and have shed blood.' Your bretheren and the Imam's speak in these terms - SAIFULLAH or SAIF-AL-DIN? SAIF-AL-DIN. It is your bretheren who bring the sword; they have only and always brought the sword. Righteousness is God's business. He will usher it in and all men will behold His Glory when He does. Zechariah 12, Ezekiel 38 & 39, 40 through 48, et al evidence this. His name is Yah. Although we may be participants, He does not rely on you or me. You can bet your last money that America will never be Islamic. As for you, I wish you well. Shalom.
