Militant Islam is Evil Totalitarian Thinking Merely Hiding Behind a New DisguiseReader comment on item: War against Radical Islamists Submitted by Stephen Carlile (United States), Jun 17, 2002 at 07:01 Mr. Pipes has accurately described the essential threat that Militant Islamic Ideology poses to our society. Evil remains evil regardless of the mask covering it. It takes courage and moral integrity to recognize and point out evil in the different disguises it takes. Mr. Pipes has accurately pointed out the most recent evolution of evil totalitarian thinking. Many people across nations and centuries have been seduced by totalitarian thinking. The totalitarian threat posed by Militant Islam is not new. It is simply the same old evil hiding under a new disguise.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
