"Who knows that he is now in the pocket of Islamists , people like him can some times be bought easily ,so he has changed his tune. no surprise to me."

Always worth considering a financial motivation when such integral changes occur. Machiavelli noted that people could be more often be counted upon to act on their interests and vices than their morals and virtues.
