South Africa has the same problemReader comment on item: West Africa - Europe's New Border Submitted by Josh Smith (United Kingdom), Apr 13, 2007 at 23:20 South Africa has the same problem as the (Canary Islands) European Union. It currently has about 12 million illegal immigrants, mostly from Africa flooding the country. If you look at places like Johannesburg, before 1994 the city was clean, safe, now today in South Africa you can even leave your home because of the crime, mostly by illegal immigrants from Africa. We now live in constant fear and crime is the highest it has ever been since the history of South Africa. I have no problem with the black south africans but can't understand why we should be flooded with illegal immigrants from Africa as far away as the Congo, Somalia and most of them are from Zimbabwe, which is funny, because they have thrown all their white farmers (who were producing food for the local people and farmed) off their land and now the country is in turmoil, the inflation stands at 1700% and they can't even look after themselves or their economies. So now they are flooding and running to South Africa and we have to put up with these people. Some advice for Europe is to start acting now before it is too late, building a wall is not going to help just look at Apartheid South Africa. something drastically needs to be done.
