CNI Foundation ad in Sunday NYT, 4/22/07Reader comment on item: My Disrupted Talk at UCLA Submitted by Muriel Efron (United States), Apr 23, 2007 at 18:07 Dear Mr. Pipes, I hope you read this and reply either in your column or to me. I am outraged at the ad placed by CNI Foundation (whatever kind of anti-Semitic organization it is!) criticizing Israel, and saying "...deal with Israeli apartheid in Palestine." They say nothing about the millions of Arabs living within Israel with more rights than they could have in any Arab country. They don't say the reason Israel is building a fence it to protect itself from the insane suicide bombers. They don't say the aim of the aim of the militant Palestinians is to totally destroy Israel. Are you answering them? Is someone going to raise a voice against these poisonous people? The total ad is a huge lie and propoganda against Israel. I am sick over it, and don't know where to turn to protest, other than to write to the CNI, and to the NYT. Mr Pipes, how can this awful ad be dealt with? Thanks for any guidance and advice. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: Sorry, am not answering it. One could spend one's whole career replying to others. I think it's a better use of my time to come up with my own ideas. << Previous Comment Next Comment >> Reader comments (51) on this item
