QuebecReader comment on item: Islamic Movements in Northern Africa Submitted by Tina (United States), May 15, 2003 at 00:47 I wonder about the effect that Quebec will have on the US considering that it has its own immigraiton policy due to the declining birth rate of Francophones in Quebec. They have used their unique immigration power to let in immigrants from Algeria and Tunisia, who now have access to North America and to living wihtin 100 miles of the Canadian US border which is farily porous to begin with.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
