Re the 'State sponsorship' post- Stop with the nit picking.Reader comment on item: Al-Qaeda's Limits Submitted by Cethern (United States), Jun 4, 2003 at 08:51 Avraham, that's the problem with people like you. You want to nit pick to death something written by someone who is the expert on the matter aka Daniel Pipes. I can't say enough good things about Pipes. He is an outstanding scholar and I have learned probably more than I ever really cared to know about islam from his work. I don't want to learn from someone who confuses issues. And this learned lay person here says that al qaeda and all these islamist jihadist nut case terrorists need to be ferreted out and destroyed. Not just stopped, but destroyed. Why don't you take some of your intense nit picking efforts and use that energy instead to secure Mr. Pipes nomination/appointment to the Chair of the IJP? That would be much more helpful. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
