Islamic repressionReader comment on item: The West's First Niqab-Covered Public Official? Submitted by Caesar M. Arevalo (United States), May 28, 2007 at 15:33 Running for a political position in Holland to promote the burqa among Muslim women ,and does not speak to the media, and does not want her picture be published? Who is this woman? A Christian? No. A Communist? No. A feminist? No. A Jew? No. It is a Muslim. Yes, this political candidate is a Muslim woman who does not believe in democracy, freedom of speech, religion, conscience, and press. Actually, she is a socially repressed Muslim, intolerant religious woman, bigot, anti-western, brainwashed individual. This is what Islam does to women when they feel worthless to fight for their liberty and individual freedom. She is a just a puppet of religious intolerance embodied in Islam. If Holland still believe that political freedom and social democracy is really important, then they should reject this woman's ideology.
