Situation is Different from US - for nowReader comment on item: Canadian Islam Is Healthier Submitted by James Burke (Canada), Jun 1, 2007 at 15:16 Montreal, Qc Islam is present here but despite comments I have heard, infrequent demonstrations of Hamas supporters in downtown Montreal ( with participation of lovcal Quebecois politicians), there has not been any violence re: "sudden jihad" events like in the US: Fort Dix, LAX airport, shooting at Utah shopping mall, criminal driving with rented vehicle, invasion of Jewish center like in Seattle, etc.. Or in Eurabia: rapes in Norway, Brussels, Sweden, demonstrations in London, requests to remove the cross in Italy, etc. Because Islam here has not yet reached a mass where the muslims feel confident to attack . But given the birth rates, that day should arrive within a decade. Two decades at most. As it will arrive in South America. It has in every other country in the world Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
