Not that simple!Reader comment on item: 'We're Going to Conquer America' Submitted by nick4693 (Japan), Jun 5, 2007 at 19:14 A.A. says: First of all, throughout history, many examples have shown American politicians to be LIARS and show false footage in order to get their public hooked and support their stupid, not even nationalist, but PERSONAL desires. The above could be said of almost any politician in just about any country. As far as Muslims are concerned, however, they make no bones about their agenda, spelling it out letter by letter, which is about the only time they say anything that contains an element of truth. The Islamic agenda is real. What bothers me is that Muslims are permitted to take advantage of the liberality of the West, yet a Westerner in an Arabic country is literally persona non grata, and we do nothing about it. Mosques (terrorist cells) are going up everywhere in the West, built mainly with funds granted by Saudi Arabia, yet the Saudis refuse to allowed the construction of even one church in their owncountry. Why don't our politicians demand reciprocity? Because we need Saudi oil. Regarding the Bush family's cozy relationship with the Saudis, I am sorry to say that you are correct. Even worse are the same ties that smiling Jimmy Carter enjoys, denigrating the Israelis and even his own country in order to kow-tow to the Saudis and their oil. I am reminded of Carter's recent criticism of Bush as being the worst president ever. That might have been funny except that he himself already enjoys that title. This meddlesome peanut farmer has done more harm since his presidency than all the good that he claims credit for during his insipid tenure.
