You guys have it all wrong

First of all I would just like to comment on the article entitled "Militant Islam is not a modern phenomenon." You see, before people comment on this religion, it is necessary to do some research before speaking about it, because I assure you will be in for a big surprise.

"Islam" itself means to surrender. Islam never was or has been a violent religion.

If you look back in history during the time of our beloved Prophet (all peace and blessings are unto him) you will notice that muslims were actually the proctectors of other people and other religions. Muslims never invoked wars, but fought in defence. In fact, at one time the Jews lived under the protection of the Muslims and were allowed to practice their religion freely. If you further research about this amazing religion, I am positive you will be overwhelmed about how beautiful this religion is and how it is displayed by people throught the media. So please pick up a book and read about what Islam actually is and do not listen to sources such as the media, they are giving you wrong information. Don't just regurgitate whatever you hear but do your own research and form your own opinions please.
