Israel and the UN

The purpose of any government or governmental organisation like the UN is that members/participants give up a portion of their liberty to act in order to secure for themselves a greater security for themselves than they could otherwise obtain by retaining their asolute freedom of action.

Israel's membership in this body has not fulfilled this promise. The UN has actively worked against Israel by subverting its rights of membership, the UNRWA farce being only a single example of UN perfidy and hypocrisy.

The UN provides respectability for every base anti-Semitic libel that in many of the individual member countries would be perfunctorily pooh-poohed. The world does together what it is too ashamed to do individually. Thus by collectively engaging in anti-Semitism no country is thus singled out.

The UN represents a game that Israel cannot win. It is a crooked game where the "rules" are always stacked against Israel. No resolution passed by the UN ever has any symmetrical obligations in its intent. These resolutions are specifically designed for Israel and only intended to apply to Israel and are only ever "actioned" when Israel can be addressed by them. These are just international numerus clauses or Nuremberg Laws against the Jewish polity.

There is no legitimacy conferred on Israel by membership in what has become an illegitimate organisation which seeks the removal and dismemberment of one of its member states and which cannot follow its own directives, particularly regarding terrorism. Israel should withdraw from the UN and if the United States wants to have any moral credibility it should as well.
