Annapolis Must Not Succeed

This is a bad deal from a start. israel gives up everything and get's nothing in return. If better relations are the carrot for these talks to succeed, then Israel should reject the Summit and rely on her nuclear option for defense. The only thing President Bush and Rice care about are their legacies, Oil, and a speaking fees for consulting and speaking after they leave office.

I was in Israel during the 73 war and I saw how the US held back supplies that almost destroyed israel. I also saw what they did to the South Vietnamese and the Cambodians after the US forced the South Vietnamese to sign the 1973 Peace Treaty. 2 million people dead in Cambodia from a bad agreement and the take over of South Vietnam in 1973.

If as you say Rice is comparing the Palis with Southern Blacks, how can she compare terrorists who kill men women and children and who teach terror and hate in their schools be compared to the Civil Rights Movement. Is she saying that Israelis are the Red Necks? Bush has not honored any agreements with Israel, moving the embassy, the signed letter given to Sharon to keep the settlement blocs without a land trade, and the release of Pollard. This excercise by Olmert and Bush has more than likely killed any chance of a peace treaty for many years to come. I hope the conference will fail.
