... I could call the 2,000 year-old effort to rid Israel of all Jews a continuation of the Roman Resistance Movement that began when Israel was given the name, Palestina. That would make about as much sense as anything you've said.

In your bizarre way of thinking, a rose by any other name makes it an onion.

History is very, very clear on this subject.

There has never been an independent country known as Palestine. You can call israel, Disney World, but it is still, Israel. No one has ever totally removed Jews from their land. Jews have lived in Israel - -which includes the West Bank and Gaza, continuously for over 3,000 years.

You can call Arabs, "Palestinians," but they are still just, plain Arabs, and they are still the usurpers who stole the land away from the Jews, and have no claim to it whatsoever.

Why should every other country in the world be recognized as a sovereign nation except Israel? Why should their battle for independence be any different that any other country's battle for independence?

To say that Israel did not fight for herself is totally bogus, false, and a load of manure.

Why was there never any movement for an independent "Palestine" before 1967?

Same reason. "Historic Palestine" is a fairy tale. A cruel myth. A concoction of the relative of Hitller's major Arab ally and partner in the Middle Eastern Holocaust.

And the people who perpetuate this BIg Lie have no clue about history or reality, and should basically crawl back under the rock from whence they came.

Those who do not learn from history ar doomed to repeat it. Those who are ignorant of history are just, plain ignorant.
