The ZUS are not no-go-areas for anyone. Neither are Moslems a majority in most of them. They are in fact run-down, mainly urban, areas earmarked for improvement.

There are certainly real problem areas on the perimeter of several large cities. Some of these are ZUS, some are not yet. These are neither as numerous (proportionately or absolutely) or lawless (and sheer dangerous) as the murderous gang-controlled Black and Latino inner-city slums or ghettoes which are a feature of most US cities. Most of France's 4-5 million immigrants from the Maghreb and the Moslem world (of whom sociologists believe more than 70% are completely apostate) live normal productive lives and live in normal law-abiding areas indistinguishable from their fellow citoyens.

France is a nation of immigrants. Like with the Jews, Poles, Hungarians, and others before them, France is assimilating its Moslems rather more effectively than than the self-appointed elders of the Moslem religious community would like.

Interestingly, very few of the Jihidists have come from France's Moslem community. The few that have received their schooling in the mosques of London.

(The "surrender-monkey" talk is wearing a bit thin too. In 1939-40 the French DID stand up to the Nazis. The US stood idly by and did nothing to assist its fellow democracy. The Brits sent a small expeditionary force which immediately did a volte-face and fled to Dunkirk while their retreat and evacuation was made possible by two French divisions buying them time by fighting a larger Nazi force to a standstill at Lille. In WW1 the French did most of the heavy lifting on the allied side. Prior to that, and the only time previously that French and British troops had fought side by side (Against Russia in the Crimea), the French completely outperformed their British allies.

In the US war of independence the undisciplined and desertion-prone rabble that was most of Washington's "army" would have succumbed without the disciplined regulars of the French army which tipped the balance against the British)
