Hire more Moslems at News papers?Reader comment on item: Is the Solution to Hire More Muslim Journalists? Submitted by M.D. Anthony (Canada), Mar 10, 2008 at 00:03 To hire more Moslems at news papers sounds little more than a polleanesque form of affirmative action. Mr. Bennet's comments allow one to go back to the blissfully ignorant days at the New York Times of the 1930's when the Nationalist Socialism of Germany and it's promise of a 1,000 year Reich were seen as laudable and the likes of Ford and even FDR thought National Socialism a good thing. Was it not the New York times that first disliked Mr. W. Churchills use of the Word "Nazi" and was it not the times that for a very long time would not call Mr. Hitler a "Nazi" leader? News editors at the New York times struggled with calling Natonal Socialists the Nazi's in the same fashion that Mr. Bennet cannot call the modern movers and shakers of State Religion what they really are, Islamist's. So you should not need to hire a party member to get to the truth, should you Mr. Bennet?
