Comparing Germany/Japan to IraqReader comment on item: The case for 'Iraqification' Submitted by (United States), Nov 24, 2003 at 22:31 Mr. Pipes, a question, please.I cannot fathom any comparison between two social systems/governments that encouraged education and technological progress to Muslim mentality in Iraq. Moslem peoples do not and have not engaged in education of the masses, intellectual progress of society, or modern advancements. Germany and Japan in the least case valued these entities for their populations. The question: Is is realistic to think any of the Arab nations desire what the other nations of the world diligently seek in advancement and modernization of their countries and peoples? I agree that thousands of years of the same social order, repression and suppression of the people is the permanent mark of Moslem culture ... the few ruling over the masses, abusively. Is this observation within historical truth?
