Dear Mr. Pipes:Reader comment on item: Daily Illini Bias Against My USIP Appointment Submitted by Robert Arbetman (United States), Dec 8, 2003 at 14:50 First of all, as an alumni of the University of Illinois at Urbana, Illinois, I would like to express my sympathy with you. Biased reporting has been a problem in the war on terror for quite some time. There are bound to be some problematic campus newspapers. I'm sorry to hear that the DAILY ILLINI is one of them.Speaking in the Central Illinois heartland, I know darn well there are plenty of people in the Champaign-Urbana community who support your perspective. They are aware that your perspective carries far more balance than the DAILY ILLINI is giving you credit for... Thanks, Robert B. Arbetman Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
