What a difference a day makesReader comment on item: Saudis Import Slaves to America Submitted by The riff (United States), Jul 9, 2008 at 10:01 Salaam, Shalom, God dag, Bonjour: What a difference a day (or two) makes. You've gone from hate speech about America and all Americans in general to love and peace....Aliyah is Hebrew for "ascent." Are you a Jewish convert to Islam? You brought up some issues that I'd like to respond to. You wrote "Just because some Muslims do some bad things doesn't mean all Muslims are bad...." Only a fool would disagree. However, in April of this year, Imam Abdul Makin spoke to the BBC in a London mosque and brazenly advocated the killing and raping of non-Muslims. When asked why he would legitimize something so horrid, he answered, "Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet." The Imam then referred the reporter to "the top Muslim lawyer of Britian," Anjem Choudary, who backed up the Iman's position. "You are innocent if you are a Muslim....I must have hatred to everything that is not Muslim." He also admitted that he "would not condemn a Muslim for any action." ((Fox News and Islam Watch) So...To use your terminology, are they good or bad Muslims? Speaking of rape, in my first letter, I neglected to respond to your statistic, "A woman in America is raped every 3 seconds." This is a favorite Muslim talking point designed to discredit the U.S. Here are some statistics for Europe: "In fact, the number of rapes committed by Muslim immigrants in Western nations is so extremely high that it is difficult to view them only as random acts of individuals. It resembles warfare. German journalist Gudrun Eussner considers this to be "sexuality as a weapon against disobedient and non-Muslim women, both categorized as "unbelievers." Against them jihad is the duty, and what to do with women "conquered' in jihad, this may be read in the Qur'an: they become slaves to be used by the victors." FRANCE: "French filmmaker Pierre Rehov states that: 'A friend of mine is a retired chief of police, who used to be in charge of the security of a major city in the south of France. He reported to me that his men had to face an average of 10 rapes a week, 80% made by Muslim young men, 30% being what we call, in French, a "tournante," meaning that the victim is being raped by an entire gang, one after the other, often during an entire night.' He was astonished that, in most cases, the parents not only would back up their rapist children, but also would not even understand why they would be arrested." (Global Politician, Feb. 11, 2007) NORWAY: "Oslo police recently released its 2007 Rape Report. The report shows a marked increase in Somali rapists, generally on account of gang rapes. Last year a record-high 161 rapes and 35 rape attempts were reported in Oslo. Over 70% of the rapists were non-Norwegian [ed. ethnically, a majority had Norwegian citizenship]." (Islam in Europe, May 15, 2008) SWEDEN: "Rapes in Sweden as a whole have increased by 17% just since the beginning of 2003, and have had a dramatic increase during the past decade. Gang rapes, usually involving Muslim immigrant males and native Swedish girls, have become commonplace. Two weeks ago, 5 Kurds brutally raped a 13-year-old Swedish girl." (Dhimmi Watch, Sept. 9, 2004) SWEDEN: "The number of rape charges in Sweden has quadrupled in just over twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six — 6 — times as common today as they were a generation ago." ( Gates of Vienna, Jan. 26, 2007) AUSTRALIA: Similar stories. See the link below. The list goes on and on, and readers can find more disturbing statistics for other countries in their search engines. Responding to your claims (taken from two of your letters): "Islam promotes peace and love....Mohammad in no way taught hurting people physically." From They Love to Hate by Brigitte Gabriel: "The Koran also contains verses, written later in Muhammad's preaching ministry, which call for unremitting war and violence against infidels until they submit to Islam. They conceal the fact that ...when there is a contradiction between verses in the Koran, the later verse supersedes the earlier verse. According to some scholars of Islam, [two of the most brutal verses. 9:5 and 5:33] supercede and cancel at least 124 earlier verses in which Muhammad preached patience and tolerance." Onto another subject. You wrote that, unlike the Bible and the Torah, the Quran has remained unchanged since its inception. The Bible, like the Quran, has been translated into many different languages. For scholarly purposes, and to retain the nuances from the original languages, it's always advisable to read from something like a Hebrew-Greek Study Bible. Regarding the Quran, I've read that the Arabic translation contains some remarkable differences from the English. Some say the differences are cause for alarm. By the way, the Dead Sea Scroll's Book of Isaiah, written in 120 B.C., is remarkably similar to the Masoretic text from the late 900s, proving utmost care had been taken while copying it. From "Funny How White People Can Say....", you accused all white people of thinking they are "superior." You didn't mention that the Quran states numerous times that non-Muslims are not equal to Muslims (and that women are deficient in intelligence). (The Bible says that those who believe in Jesus Christ are the same, no matter their race, gender or situation in life: Gal. 3:28.). One last comment pertaining to "Funny How People Can Say...." You called all white people "racists." Maybe you should read Infidel by Ayaah Hirsi Ali. A Muslim woman who had been granted asylum in Holland told Hirsi Ali that whenever she accused someone of being "racist," they would give her anything she wanted. Racism is to be despised, and charges of racism that are used as cultural blackmail are despicable.
