SLAVERY DOES INDEED OCCUR IN SAUDI ARABIA!!!!

My mother-in-law (who is Filipina) is being held in Saudi Arabia against her will. For all intents and purposes she is a slave there now. Her "master" won't let her return home. I, for one, am mad as hell that this type of thing occurs so frequently in Saudi Arabia. Where there is smoke there is fire and I see a lot of smoke and have heard a lot of horror stories about Filipinos in Saudi Arabia.

It is PAST-time for the Philippine government to RESTRICT their people from going to Saudi Arabia to work as maids. I would not be surprised to find out that she has been raped there contstantly even though she has not mentioned a word of that. Her phone calls home are highly regulated. There have been times that she has called but it is always very short. She would not mention such an atrocity if it were occuring because she would not want her family so very worried and in torment for her. I know how they are and they often hide bad news from each other so as not to upset a loved one with such information.

Upon my return to the Philippines I plan to visit some government offices and officials in an endeavor to entreat them to attend to this hellish problem. It may not be hell to those of us otherwise unaffected by slavery in Saudi Arabia but for those who are now enslaved... it is HELL ON EARTH.

I welcome any thoughts, ideas, comments and the like. Thank you for taking the time to read my opinion of this horrible matter.
