Criticism

Dear Mr. Pipes:

The position that individuals who do not live in Israel may not criticize the stupid policies of Israel is ridiculous. I belong to a particular class of Americn ditizens. I have two adult American born children and eight Israeli grandchildren who live in and are citixens of Israel.

This policy of exchanging dead Jewish bodies for live Arab terrorists puts my family in jeopardy. The fact that Israel does not see that is because they are basically secular Jews who do not allow their political beliefs (essentially a Marxist model) about the inherent goodness of man intefere with the reality of evil. So they will continue to make decisions based upon fantasy. This is a long hard road. I remember hearing a statement that "People who do not believe in God will believe in anything/" Jews have a long history of learning regarding human nature. Our Rabbis have passed this knowledge down through the centruies thorugh the Torah and Talmud. That learning was respected by the founders of Israel. You should continue your excellent work.
