Totally Agree about Dr. Pipes writings.

In addition to what you said:

Anyone can be enriched by his writings, not only b/c of the wisdom that is spread, but also in the way his writings "sound" through its unique musicality.

The rarefied non concrete and shining layer that exists in between the evilness he addresses which most of the time is Islamism, and the way Dr. Pipes writes, already is a lesson in life. It concomitantly brings a double sensation to awareness/wisdom about the evilness presence and a sense of confort.

The layer carries in itself a candid way of his personality expression. It is like a way of unconsciously not shocking the reader, while showing the good human being he is.

The aesthetic he adopts, which in this case is the authentic expression of himself (meaning that does not follow any way of writing previously established in literacy) as a writer, is by itself a piece of art.

There is no way to describe in words. It is something you simply cannot describe. Do not know if even HE is aware of that.
