Three Arabs from Acre were indicted Thursday for brutally beating a Jewish man during last month's riots in the mixed Jewish-Arab city in northern Israel.

The charges against two of the defendants were designated as terrorist acts, which allows the length of the sentencing to be doubled.

According to the indictment, the three men joined other masked Arab youths who had erected a barricade in the middle of a street at the height of the unrest in Acre on May 12. They threw stones at a police car and blocked traffic using furniture and other objects. When they identified a vehicle with a Jewish driver, Mor Janashvili, they pelted it with dozens of stones. Janashvili lost control of the vehicle and crashed into wall, hitting an Arab youth.

Janashvili left the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot when he was beaten to the ground by the three defendants, armed with iron bars, clubs, stones and other objects, the indictment said. The defendants kept beating him, with one of them, Kusai Abbas, hitting Janashvili over the head with a table leg. Later, one of the rioters torched the vehicle.

Janashvili was rushed to the hospital in moderate condition. The defendants were arrested a few days later. Abbas was charged with attempted murder as a terrorist act, throwing stones at a vehicle as a terrorist act, sabotaging a vehicle as a hate crime and rioting. Adham Bashir was charged with aggravated assault as a terrorist act and rioting. Bilal Hilwani was charged with rioting. The state has requested to keep the three in custody until the end of legal proceedings.

הפרקליטות הגישה הבוקר (חמישי) כתב אישום נגד שלושה ערבים מעכו על כך שתקפו יהודי קשות בזמן המהומות שפרצו בחודש שעבר בעיר. כתב האישום מייחס לנאשם קוסאי עבאס עבירות של מעשה טרור של ניסיון רצח, מעשה טרור יידוי אבן לעבר כלי תחבורה, חבלה במזיד ברכב ממניע גזעני והתפרעות, לאדהם בשיר מעשה טרור של חבלה חמורה בכוונה מחמירה והתפרעות, ולבילאל חילואני עבירת התפרעות.

לפי כתב האישום, ב-12 במאי, בשיאן של ההתפרעויות, חברו הנאשמים לצעירים רעולי פנים שהקימו מחסום באחד הרחובות בעיר. הם יידו אבנים לעבר מכונית של המשטרה וחסמו את נתיבי הנסיעה באמצעות רהיטים וחפצים שונים. לאחר מכן הם זיהו רכב שבו נוהג יהודי, מור ג'אנאשוילי, יידו לעבר המכונית עשרות אבנים תוך כדי נסיעה ופגעו בה בין השאר גם בשמשת הרכב הקדמית. ג'אנאשוילי ניסה להימלט מהמתפרעים, איבד שליטה על הרכב והתנגש בחומה תוך שהרכב פוגע בצעיר ערבי שעמד שם.

בשלב זה, כך לפי כתב האישום, יצא ג'אנאשוילי מהרכב וניסה לברוח, אך אז המתפרעים תקפו אותו במוטות ברזל, באלות, באבנים ובחפצים, ולאחר שנפל המשיכו להכותו. הנאשם עבאס הכה אותו בראשו באמצעות רגל של שולחן מעץ שמצא במקום. לאחר מכן הצית אחד המתפרעים את הרכב, שנשרף כליל.

ג'אנאשוילי נפצע והובהל לבית החולים כשמצבו בינוני. הנאשמים נעצרו בחשד לתקיפתו כמה ימים לאחר המקרה, וכעת הפרקליטות מבקשת לעצור אותם עד תום ההליכים המשפטיים.

5 months have passed since the lynching in which Moore Janashvili was seriously injured. The lynching was carried out in the city of Acre during riots that took place during Operation Wall Guard. The GSS and police investigation revealed that the terrorists identified Janashvili's vehicle as belonging to a Jew, partly due to Israeli flags. The terrorists beat Janashvili severely with stones and clubs, and continued to beat him even when he fell to the ground.

Last night (Tuesday), Janashvili published a moving text in which he describes what he has been going through since the lynching: the serious injury to the body, the nightmares and flashbacks and the dealing with the disability following the incident.

Janashvili described the difficult lynching incident and pledged to do everything in his power to ensure that the terrorists receive the maximum punishment.

Why are you stuck on it? ", 5 months of a crappy wheelchair.

5 months have passed since that damn night of bloody night in Acre where I was in hell, war, terrorist attack - alone. 12.5 Hour 21:20 Hundreds of Derech Street in Acre Hundreds of masked terrorists armed with rocks and iron and wooden poles blocked the road with objects and waited for a Jew. The terrorists' hatred of everything to do with Jews.

The identification was according to the Israeli flag I had on the car window. "Yahud Yahud." The attempt to lynch by opening the car door - and understanding that you have to do an act if you do not do your body will be like the corpses of those in Ramallah in a split second it passes you, you hit the gas to save your life - and only because you are Jewish, just like in Germany, you know you are going to die but you do not agree to be as a sheep to the slaughter.

After being stoned to death by rocks and stones and objects and losing control you decide to flee the vehicle, you realize you are going to be burned in the vehicle while alive by the terrorists. The hatred there burned. They wanted Jewish blood. In your heart you knew it was over, that you had no chance. The Jewish bloodthirsty terrorists want a cruel lynx to happen to me. At all times stones and iron rod and wood are hurled at me.
