Funny CommentReader comment on item: Islamist Paintball, Anyone? Submitted by Iegun (Australia), Aug 8, 2008 at 00:24 Muslims, if they were truly free and had democracy, would overwhelmingly support Shariah Law and the restoration of the Islamic Caliphate. If you disagree with the idea of a peaceful theocratic democracy based upon Islamic morals, you are quite welcome to join the Facebook group and debate us there. --- I cannot control myself but have to say honestly I am still laughing all the way when typing this message to respond to the above comments by Mr. Khatib. By nature, supporting Shariah Law which by Islamic teaching to be directly sourced from their god is against democracy which by nature wants rule of laws created by a state's majority people / citizen....and how come a theocratic society also believes in democracy....what happens when the will of the people is different with the will of god ? will they follow the people's will as in democratic society or the god's and mullah's will as in theocratic's one like Iran ? ROFL - Unbelievable... Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
